HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH RV RESORT  55+ Adult Living Resort

Hidden Valley Ranch RV Resort is nestled in the high New Mexican desert, surrounded by the foothills of the Cooke's Mountain Range. The resort is but a small portion on the 7,000 acres of open range framed by endless skies, a setting that makes it truly one of the hidden treasures of the southwest that's just ready to be explored with your ATV. Here you can find quiet solitude, desert beauty and diverse wildlife. There are no trains rumbling in the night, no trucks engaging jake brakes as they exit off the highway, just the occasional howl of a coyote or the whistle of the wind past your windows.  Our endless starry skies are a must for star-gazers.  As well as the abundance of birds and wildlife for bird watchers.  And don't forget the abundance of rocks in the area make Hidden Valley Ranch a Rockhounders Paradise!

We are a "Working Cattle Ranch" at Hidden Valley Ranch.  Depending on the time and season you may see and hear cattle being worked, sorted, counted, tagged, etc.

Historic Deming, New Mexico with a wonderful Museum and Interstate 10 are just a short drive away. The Deming Luna Mimbres Museum offers insights into native culture, including the renowned Mimbreno Indian pottery, cultural, historical and geological heritage.  Ancient Indian Petroglyphs are a short walk from the gate of Hidden Valley Ranch, as well as a exciting ATV/UTV ride to another extensive collection of Petroglyphs on the back side of the property.

From this peaceful setting, one can easily explore Silver City, NM, a quiet town 52 miles northwest of Deming that is home to many artists and artisans. It is also the gateway to The Gila National Wilderness, the nation's first designated wilderness area, and Lake Roberts. The Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is where visitors search for the secrets of the people who inhabited and forsook the dwellings in the last 2000 years. Close by is the CATWALK, providing dramatic views of sheer rock walls and the Whitewater River, and the City of Rocks State Park, where forces of nature have sculpted their own version of a fossilized city.  See "Things to Do Within 100 Miles" for more information.

The abundance of rocks in the area spurs an annual rock show in March. Other favorite local events include the Annual Great American Duck Races in August and the Southwestern New Mexico State Fair in October. With the abundance of things to see and do at a ranch, you could find yourself returning to the area year after year.
